O.D. CAMOTES

Ocean Deep Camotes, (THE ONLY SCUBA DIVE CENTER IN CAMOTES) opened on 1 Sept 2007, on Pacijan Island, the southern most island of the Camotes Group, Cebu We are located at the Mangodlong Rock Resort. We teach all levels of diver training including discover scuba diving through PADI Instructor.

We will have 8 complete sets of brand new scuba equipment, 23 Aluminum 80s tanks, and a 6.8 cfm Buaer Mariner, compressor. Using the most up to date PADI training materials, Ocean Deep Camotes can take you from discover diving all the way through to PADI Instructor. Nitrox and Trimix available on request.

And what a better place to learn then in the shadows of the most historic World War II battle in the Philippines. Only a stones throw from Leyte, where General McArther filled his promise to return to the Philippines during WWII.

 

The USS WARD, which fired the first shot in WWII which sunk a Japanese Mini Submarine at Pearl Harbor is sunk here. The USS Mahan another US Destroyer and the USS Cooper is also in this area. Although the Ward is in 600 plus feet, there are sure to be several ships and Japanese zeros in the diving ranges. AND you could one of the first to see them. Ocean Deep Camotes is constantly looking for historic wrecks to dive. You can be a  part of it !!
