Ocean Deep Camotes, (THE ONLY SCUBA DIVE CENTER IN CAMOTES) opened on 1 Sept 2007, on Pacijan Island, the southern most island of the Camotes Group, Cebu. We are located at the Mangodlong Rock Resort. We teach all levels of diver training including discover scuba diving through PADI Instructor.

We have 8 complete sets of new scuba equipment, 25 Aluminum 80s tanks, and a 6.8 cfm Buaer Mariner, compressor. Using the most up to date PADI training materials, Ocean Deep Camotes can take you from discover diving all the way through to PADI Instructor. Nitrox and Trimix available with prior notice. And what a better place to learn then in the shadows of the most historic World War II battle in the Philippines. Only a stones throw from Leyte, where General McArther kept his promise to return to the Philippines during WWII.

 

The USS WARD (and two other US Destroyers), which fired the first shot in WWII which sunk the first Japanese Mini Submarine at Pearl Harbor is sunk here.  Although the Ward is in 600 plus feet, there are sure to be several ships and Japanese zeros in the diving ranges. AND you could one of the first to see them. A ferry has been found in 55 meters. More are being investigated daily. Be a part of it!!

Never a problem with rooms as Mangodlong Rock Resort which has 25 rooms and just up the road is Santiago Bay Resort with about 40 more rooms.

 

Fast Ferry departs Cebu pier one daily at 530 pm for the three hour trip on an enclosed air conditioned ferry.

OR you can get taxi to Danao (600 pesos and an hour later)  at the pier for the 6 am or 11 am ferry. This ferry takes only one hour but is large open air banca.
