Ocean Deep Camotes, (THE ONLY SCUBA DIVE CENTER IN CAMOTES) opened on 1 Sept 2007, on Pacijan Island, the southern most island of the Camotes Group, Cebu. We are located at the Mangodlong Paradise Resort. We will have 8 sets of scuba equipment, 25 Aluminum 80s tanks, and a 6.8 cfm Buaer Mariner, compressor. Using the most up to date PADI training materials, Ocean Deep Camotes can take you from discover diving all the way through to PADI Divemaster. Nitrox and Trimix available with prior notice. And what a better place to learn then in the shadows of the most historic World War II battle in the Philippines. Only a stones throw from Leyte, where General McArther kept his promise to return to the Philippines during WWII. A super ferry has been found in 55 meters. More are being investigated daily. Be a part of it!! The resort just sunk a large ship infront of the shop in 12 meters. It is about 60 meters long and now surrounded with reef balls. Never a problem with rooms as the Mangodlong Area has about 80 rooms and just up the road is Santiago Bay Resort with about 40 more rooms.
Fast Ferry departs Cebu pier one daily at 5:30 pm for the three hour trip on an enclosed air conditioned ferry. But this ferry lands 45 min by motorcycle from shop. OR you can get FX van for 50 pesos from SM or taxi to Danao (600 pesos and an hour later) at the pier for the 5:30am, 9, 11, or 12 noon ferry. This ferry takes only 2.5 hour. And arrives 10 min fom resort and dive center.
